This basin is designed to sit ON the worktop and not a semi recessed basin which is cut INTO a semi recessed basin unit. This basin requires either a sit on basin unit or a highline base unit (although this will make the basin sit quite high).

This toilet & basin set matched the contemporary style that my husband and me were after. Luckily we opted for that 400mm deep furniture or the basin may have looked a little odd or possibly not even fitted if we went for the 250mm deep bathroom cabinets. So glad I bought this toilet & basin package rather than the villeroy and Boch 1 I looked at. It's nicer looking along with a much better price!
