Vitra has appointed Errol Brown and Rick Gurney as area sales managers for the South of England. Brown brings with him nine years’ experience and will look after the South Thames region. Hejoins the company from MX products. Gurney will be responsible for the North Thames region and joins the company from BCC., bringing 13 years’ experience to the company.
Colin Patterson has been appointed as marketing manager for Hettich UK. In his new role, Patterson will be responsible for raising awareness ofthe Hettich brand in the UK market. He will also be continuing to expand links with existing customers and help develop relationships with new customers. Patterson brings with him a wealth of experience and is looking forward to developing the company’s marketing strategy and plan.
Formica has appointed Richard Crisp as national sales manager for Axiom by Formica. He brings with him a wealth of experience, having previously worked for the company for five years as business development manager in the Midlands. In his new role, Crisp will be responsible for driving sales development of Axiom in the UK through key accounts, and support kitchen studios and distributors.
Chris Fotheringham has joined Beko as contract sales manager for the North of England. He brings with him 18 years’ experience within the kitchen industry and has previously held the position of sales manager for Electrolux and Neff Fotheringham also brings with him direct experience within electrical retailing, having worked as regional manager for Thorn, where he specialised in built-in appliances for contract and retail markets.
Cooking appliance manufacturer; Glen Dimplex Home Appliances has appointed a new management team for its New World brand. Jon Brennan has been given the role of commercial manager and Candice Powell has been appointed as brand manager Brennan will take on the responsibility of building the brand through sales and marketing of new and existing products. Powell, joining New World from Lec Medical, will be responsible for formulating the brands long-term strategy, researching new markets and developing and executing marketing plans.
