Bathroom quality and technical information
Bathroom furniture quality information
Why our furniture is the best quality on the U.K. market:
- We have the highest specification bathroom cabinets on the UK market at an unbeatable price - 40% off RRP, saving you ££££££'s.
- All cabinets are delivered fully constructed including the door and drawer fascia fitted. This is a real time saver if you wish to install the bathroom yourself. It eliminates the risk of damaging cabinets while constructing or failing to order vital components. In some cases this may also reduce your installation charges.
- All our drawer units come with a soft close drawer as standard and not an optional extra.
- All doors come with a soft close hinge as standard and not as an optional extra.
- You as a customer have all the benefits of purchasing a high quality bathroom from the internet and take advantage of reduced prices. At the same time you have the peace of mind that you can come to our showroom and see us as a company and check quality of our cabinetry for yourself.
- Our cabinets are glued and pocket screwed together with a solid 18mm back panel as opposed to cheaper methods of construction such as cam and doweled (the way flat packed kitchens are normally constructed). All the cabinets are colour matched to the door both inside and out. We also have the flexibility to extend and reduce cabinet depth as each cabinet is made to order.
Bathroom furniture technical information
Here you will find the fitting instructions for our bathroom furniture and a few hints and tips.
- On all drawer units the drawers are 270mm deep no matter what the depth of the unit ie. a 500mm deep drawer unit will only have 270mm drawers.
- There is a 45mm service void at the back of all units except drawer units.
- Base units are 720mm high plus 140mm for the plinth and 30mm for the worktop.
- Wall units are 575mm high and 720mm high with 10mm service void at the back.
- Mid height units are 1440mm high plus 140mm for the plinth and 30mm for the worktop.
- Tall units are 1825mm high using a 720mm bottom door (or drawers) and a 720mm top door plus 140mm for the plinth.
- The depths of the units stated is the depth of the carcass. The depth of the door needs to be added to this which is generally between 18 and 23mm.
- All units have full adjustment on the hinges and hinge plates to allow complete flexibility if the alignment goes out of square during transit. Full instructions on how to do this can be viewed by clicking the fitting instructions link below.
- All the units have a matt finish to the carcass. If you want a gloss effect you need to purchase a gloss filler panel.
Tips
- When cutting out the fascia for your basin make sure you allow the 30mm height of the worktop in your calculation so as not to cut 30mm too much off the fascia.
- The furniture that we supply is resistant to moisture, however it is important that any excess dampness that remains on it is removed with a hand towel.
- All doors are NOT drilled for handles, they are marked on the rear to suit our handle spacing. When drilling it is good practice to clamp a scrap of wood to the front of the door and then drill through from behind (ensuring you drill horizontally) this stops any chance of the front of the door backing out as the drill goes through the front.
- All doors can be removed/unclipped to keep them safe during instillation by depressing the button on rear of hinge (leaving the hinge back plate on the unit)
