Designed to be system friendly and offer years of trouble free service the Showermate 1.4 bar twin, when installed into an open vented hot and cold water system, where all outlets are below the level of the cold water cistern, will have the equivalent effect of raising the cold water cistern 14 metres above its current position.

Flow switch operated, these pumps are suitable for giving a medium pressure boost to individual taps, mixer taps and shower valves.
In negative head situations the pump may be manually switched by means of an air switch or non-latching pull cord switch.

The Showermate single pump is designed to be system friendly and offer years of trouble free service and when installed into an open vented hot or cold water system, where all outlets are below the level of the cold water cistern, will have the equivalent effect of raising the cold water cistern 12 metres above its current position.
Flow switch operated, these pumps are suitable for giving a medium pressure boost to taps and dual flow mixer taps. They are not recommended for boosting the water pressure to one side of a mixer tap or shower valves, where the other supply is at a higher pressure

The Monsoon Extra Negative single pump is designed for use in larger domestic and light commercial applications. When installed into an open vented hot or cold water system, where the outlets are either above or below the level of the cold water cistern, it has the equivalent effect of raising the cold water cistern 13 metres above its current position with a flow rate of 45 litres per minute.

Applications include boosting water pressures to individual outlets such as mixer taps and shower valves where a medium pressure is required. Monsoon Extra is ideal for use in pairs, boosting hot and cold water services to multiple outlets in large houses, schools or leisure centres.
Installed in conjunction with a break tank, this style of pump can be used to boost water pressure into un-vented hot and cold water systems.

The pump is not recommended for use in pairs boosting common hot and cold supplies to mixer taps and shower valves (for applications such as this please refer to the Monsoon Extra Negative range). Monsoon Extra positive is ideal as an outlet pump installed after a shower valve pumping to multiple shower heads in leisure centres and schools.

The correct pump for any application can only be determined when the brassware has been chosen and the pressure/flow requirements are known. However as a general guide for low to medium pressure fittings a Monsoon 2.0 bar Single should be used, or for high pressure fittings use the Monsoon 3.0 bar Single pump.
